Clubhouse Features FAQ & VENDOR RESOURCES How much is the rental? Rentals will vary between the day of the week and month of the year. In prime season (May-October) a Saturday ballroom rental is $1950 with optional fireside rental of $550 (required for onsite ceremony). The rentals of the rooms includes tables, white chavari chairs, set up & tear down of anything supplied by Dellwood County Club, general staffing & bartenders, dance floor, security and outdoor patio or deck area. Do you have required minimums? All events have a required food and beverage minimum. This minimum does not include the room rental, tax, service charge or miscellaneous rental items. Contact the Catering office for the minimum for your requested day. What is your capacity? Our ballroom maxes at 275 seated & the fireside room maxes at 45 seated. Our standard guest tables are 72” rounds, which max at 12 guests per table. We have enough banquet tables on site for miscellaneous set up (DJ table, gift table, escort cards etc.), but not for guest seating. Can we bring our own food and drink? All catering & beverage service for your event will be done by Dellwood Country Club. Due to MN health code & insurance reasons, no outside food or beverage is allowed on the property. We do allow outside desserts to be brought in for a nominal fee, however, any desserts must be made through a licensed kitchen and baker. What if it rains? Yes! We have a beautiful outdoor ceremony location with backdrops of our first tee, as well as the option to have it indoors. The ceremony fee is $475 for both options, and includes complimentary use of the bridal suite all day. In the event of inclement weather, we will hold the ceremony in the ballroom, and guests will move to the fireside room while the room is rearranged for reception. When can we try the food? Due to the amount of events held at the club, we are unable to perform private tastings. We do however have two mass tastings every year in the early Spring & Fall. The tastings are complimentary per 2 guests with a booked date, and $45 for any additional, un-booked or repeat guests. Your event manager will contact you as soon as dates are solidified. What is an average wedding cost at your venue? This question has many different variables. To get a rough estimate, take your room rental, the price per plate (located on the banquet menu) times the number of guests you expect, add anything you want (appetizers, wine pouring, late night pizzas, etc. – all additional costs can be found in the policies section/menu), add any liquor or kegs, multiply everything by our 20% service charge (.2) – take that number, multiply it by 7.125% MN state sales tax and you’ll get an rough idea of the cost. How do I secure my date? Your room rental fee, damage deposit & signed contract are required to secure the date. Your date is not secured until all items have been received by our catering department. Reach out to our Events Manager today, to start the process. How early can I set up / can I stay? Earliest access day of is 11am. Last call is 30 min prior to the last song. All entertainment must conclude by 12am, and all items and guests departed by 12:30am. Do you have a wedding planner? We do not have an on-site wedding planner; we have an event manager who will work with you on your contract, menu selections, set up details, timeline and basic contact information for your vendors.
